Abi officially joined us in September 2025 after impressing the team as a summer intern. During her internship, she graduated from the University of Sussex with a BA in History and Politics, where she also served as Editor-in-Chief of The Badger newspaper.

As an intern, Abi worked across teams to learn the ropes of brand design PR and contribute wherever she could, including Red Setter's own comms! That experience meant she hit the ground running as a full-time JAE - writing and pitching for our brilliant clients and securing top-tier media opportunities and coverage from day one.

Here Abi shares what’s catching her eye in the world of brand design - and what she’s loving about working in it right now…

Abi tell me something you enjoy about working in brand design PR?

I love the part of my job that involves keeping up with the culture news that’s all over my social media - but now I get to chat about it with purpose and analyse it from a brand design perspective.

What’s an exciting thing you‘ve noticed in brand design right now?

Playful, unexpected brand collaborations – like Perelló olives teaming up with Dash sparkling water on a martini kit. These collaborations step away from a serious traditional campaigns to show a brand's fun side, and reach new audiences.

Share a piece of career advice that’s been helpful to you.

Learn from every task to make it better next time.

If you hadn’t worked in brand design PR what would you do?

I would like to think I’d be on the receiving end of PR emails as a journalist. I’d love to try out and review restaurants - maybe I’d create a foodie magazine!
