Tell me something you enjoy about working in brand design PR?
Alex: Our clients have so much to talk about – usually far more than they realise. While PR in many sectors is limited to company news, our clients have a real depth of expertise we can explore for media stories.
What’s an exciting thing you‘ve noticed in brand design right now?
Alex: The realisation by a growing number of organisations of the value of brand and how to build it – inside-out, purpose-led, and delivered across all channels. The days when brand could be conflated with logo are thankfully behind us.
Share a piece of career advice that’s been helpful to you
Alex: Be patient. Everything doesn’t have to be perfect, it just needs to be improving.
If you hadn’t worked in brand design PR what would you do?
Alex: Test cricketer, fighter pilot… or probably more realistically a writer!
