After impressing us as an intern in summer 2024, we invited Amy to stay on and continue working with us during her final year at the University of Sussex. She officially joined Red Setter as a full-time junior account executive last month and hit the ground running - securing media opportunities for top-tier clients from day one. Quick to learn the ropes of PR and the brand design world, Amy brings a calm insightfulness and sharp instinct to everything she does.

Here Amy shares what’s catching her eye in the world of brand design - and what she’s loving about working in it right now…

Amy tell me something you enjoy about working in brand design PR?

The creatives and their thoughts. It is fascinating to hear our talented clients describe how a project came to be. The process and immense level of detail is inspiring and a testament to the importance of design behind what we see every day.

What’s an exciting thing you‘ve noticed in brand design right now?

Experiences. More and more pop-up shops, beautiful retail spaces, or brand hubs at events- which I personally love. There’s something special about the different design for a physical space presenting a new way for consumers to connect with the brand.

Share a piece of career advice that’s been helpful to you.

No question is a bad question. Ask away. Although it may be daunting with new things, never be afraid to want to learn more. I try to always think about what’s coming up and what I could be learning next.

If you hadn’t worked in brand design PR what would you do?

I always wanted to be a screenwriter or something in TV/ Film. I have always loved creative writing, forcing my family to read every story I wrote as a child, and was planning on doing a playwriting course at university before I changed my mind!
