🔴 BRAND DESIGN PR SPOTLIGHT 🔴
The second in our new series of BRAND DESIGN PR SPOTLIGHT is on Anna Richardson-Taylor, one of our amazing editorial consultants at Red Setter that make stories happen!
This is your chance to find out a little more about each member of our team, their thoughts on working in brand design PR, the best career advise they've received and their alternative career in an alternative universe.
Anna tell me something you enjoy about working in brand design PR?
Anna: As a journalist on Design Week some years ago, I learnt to appreciate the value and impact of brand design – the vastly diverse areas of our lives it touches and the changes it can effect. Being able to bring that to an even wider audience through PR is very satisfying.
What’s an exciting thing you‘ve noticed in brand design right now?
Anna: I’m excited by what brand design can bring to the conversation on sustainability. I am convinced that it will play a huge part in encouraging mass behaviour change – in people, but most importantly in big business.
Share a piece of career advice that’s been helpful to you
Anna: ”Find your people”. People you respect, people you can turn to – for help, for information, for unpicking an idea or illuminating another. People that you admire, that inspire you, that bring out the best in you – and look to you to do the same.
If you hadn’t worked in brand design PR what would you do?
Anna: I wish the schools I went to had been more clued up about what design is – growing up, design equalled fashion and chairs. I’d like to think I’d be a kick-ass brand experience strategist in a parallel universe. Although my main love will always be writing.
Thank you Anna for sharing!
