Here Carrie gives us an insight to her thoughts about working in brand design PR...
Carrie tell me something you enjoy about working in brand design PR?
Carrie: I get to learn about so many different sectors and industries, looking at them through a creative and strategic lens. One day it’s luxury skincare and the next it’s a theme park.
What’s an exciting thing you‘ve noticed in brand design right now?
I find AI both terrifying and fascinating. I’m interested to see how tools like Midjouney develop, and the opportunities they present for the creative industry.
Will we all be replaced by robots? Maybe.
Share a piece of career advice that’s been helpful to you
“Don’t pretend to be someone else”
It’s a simple one but so true. Embrace your quirks and find people that want to work with you for who you are.
If you hadn’t worked in brand design PR what would you do?
I did theatre studies at university so probably an actress – I like to think I’d make a good detective in a BBC drama.
