🔴 BRAND DESIGN PR SPOTLIGHT 🔴
As associate director, Cher oversees our teams to ensure top-notch delivery to our clients. Cher's experience as a leader, shaker and do-er means that she leads with passion and a commitment to strive for the best for Red Setter's global client base.
Here Cher gives us an insight to her thoughts about working in brand design PR...
Cher tell me something you enjoy about working in brand design PR?
The people. I have met some incredible creatives and business leaders since working in brand design. I’ve had the pleasure of working with some powerhouses, specifically women – Joanne Chan, Rosie Garschina, Lauren Hartstone, Rowena Curlewis – it’s very inspiring.
What’s an exciting thing you‘ve noticed in brand design right now?
The rise of brands recognising the power of women, especially in sports – the rise of WBNA, the investment in women’s sports bars. Seeing female sports stars in the spotlight, and the brand work coming out of this is really exciting.
Share a piece of career advice that’s been helpful to you
Do something you like. To sound entirely uncool, YOLO. It also works as an agency leader – I hire people who love what we do – they’re more productive, stay with us longer, make the place happier. Win, win.
If you hadn’t worked in brand design PR what would you do?
I’d love to have been a doctor. My family are all in the NHS, and I have huge respect for every medical professional.
Thank you Cher for sharing!
