Miriam is a hotshot member of our PR team, who joined us as an intern from the University of Sussex, where she gained her degree in media and communications. Miriam shares her love for design through the energy she brings to her work and the amazing relationships she has with her clients and her team mates.

Here Miriam gives us an insight to her thoughts about working in brand design PR...

Miriam tell me something you enjoy about working in brand design PR?

Getting awestruck and inspired by creatives every single day. My job connects me to industry experts at the top of their game, across a huge variety of design disciplines and sectors – from beer branding to commercial film choreography – and the passion for what they do is infectious.

What’s an exciting thing you‘ve noticed in brand design right now?

Motion. More and more brands are moving beyond static single iterations of their identities to create dynamic systems that flex and adapt across today’s multitude of digital touchpoints. It’s cool to see the kinetic typography and fluid colour gradients motion designers are playing with.

Share a piece of career advice that’s been helpful to you

Find the thing that you love to do when no one’s watching and keep doing that.

If you hadn’t worked in brand design PR what would you do?

I’m food obsessed and I love to cook, so I’ve often thought what it would be like to run my own restaurant.

That or a dancer in Rambert Dance Company (in my dreams).
