Abi Summers

PR Intern

In this bonus episode of My Life in Design, Claire will be interviewing Peter Ting live at London’s New Designers festival on Thursday 3rd July. Peter Ting is a Hong Kong-born, London-based ceramicist and designer known for blending Eastern heritage with Western design. With a background in fine bone china and luxury homeware, he has worked with prestigious brands like Asprey and Thomas Goode, and his creations have been gifted to royalty. A passionate advocate for craft, he co-founded Ting-Ying Gallery to promote contemporary interpretations of traditional Blanc de Chine porcelain. Ting’s work is held in major collections including the V&A and MAD New York, and he continues to bridge cultures and eras through thoughtful design, curation, and collaboration. He has been invited to be one of this year’s New Designers ambassadors.

New Designers is a well-established and renowned festival, going into its 40th year, which will be displaying the work of over 2,500 designers this year.
