Series three of the My Life in Design podcast hits this Thursday! A whole new series with ten more design industry leaders sharing their journey so far with host Claire Blyth, founder of brand design focused PR agency Red Setter.
Marking one year since the launch of the podcast series, series three will see host Claire Blyth speaking to more of the design industry’s most exciting creatives, thinkers and strategists, including Paula Scher of Pentagram, Dave Palmer of LOVE, Sarah Boris, John Glasgow of Vault49, artist Craig Black, amongst others. The first guest starting the new series is designer Harry Pearce of Pentagram.
The podcast series is a collaboration between Red Setter and the Design Business Association, with the aim of showing young people the different ways you can get into the industry through the guests shared experience of education, their first jobs, and how they got to where they are today.
The guests also share their top tips on how to get and make the most of internships, how to standout, build your career and overcome obstacles to be more resilient.
Host Claire Blyth, founder and managing partner of brand design PR agency Red Setter, said: “I’ve been working in the industry for nearly 25 years and design continues to be an exciting place to live, work and breathe. However, we know that there are still challenges to getting into the design industry and through the podcast we aim to break down some of those barriers by speaking to key people at the forefront of design.”
Episodes will be published weekly on Thursdays and can be found on Spotify and Apple podcasts.
